I designed and composed a 20 minut looping soundscape. Using eurorack modular patches, water splashes, and weather sounds, I wove a narrative of exploration. Electronic pulses fueled curiosity, while ethereal textures and climate sounds added magic. The U-boat phase featured sonar pings and water splashes for intrigue. Balancing ambient and unfocused elements, the soundscape flowed seamlessly, inviting the audience into an immersive, playful exploration of sonic textures.
In late august I was approached by Margrete Lodahl Rolighed and asked I was interested in performing live electronic music together with the ‘Plante Sensorium’ installation for the Processing Community Day 2023 at the Aarhus school of architecture.
I designed and implemented sound effects using Wwise and Unity. Worked closely together with SØS Gunver Ryberg in implementing her compositions through a combination of ambisonics and object-based audio within Wwise middleware.
In my thesis I am investigating Poul la Cour’s “tonestrøms-apparat” through media archaeological methods grounded in patent drawings, reproduction and re-enactment with the aim to demonstrate “tonestrøms-apparatets” epistemological implications of our understanding of contemporary digital medias.
